The men's section of Lucan Harriers is a very vibrant and growing part of the club. We have a large group of men of all abilities and fitness levels, where everyone is encouraged and mentored.
Lucan Harriers men take part in road races across Dublin, with many of our members regularly placing in their age category.
We train on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7pm. You are welcome to come along and try out a few sessions.
All runners start the same session and naturally taper into different groups.
On Sunday mornings, there is a long slow run which leaves the clubhouse at 9am. Open to both Ladies and Men.
Track and Field
Ever thought of getting back to competitive sport or trying it out for the very first time? Ever thought of trying track & field athletics?
The club has a very successful track & field group of senior (adults under 35) and masters (over 35) athletes. We would love a few more like-minded people to join us. The group trains on a Monday at 6pm, Thursday at 6.30pm and Saturday at 10am. The training is a combination of track work on our IAAF certified track and strength and conditioning. We have a grade 4 AAI coach and a lot of experience within the group for those looking to improve or to achieve certain goals.
We compete in indoor and outdoor events all year round. It is a great way of meeting people, staying fit and healthy, while remaining competitive.
